Four experts from "Eco Reset" Bitola, together with experts from "Gauss" Institute from Bitola and "100% Renewables" Foundation from Berlin, are working on a feasibility study and a plan for decarbonizing the central heating system with the application of large heat pumps for the Bitola region through the use of different renewable energy sources like PV, wind and biomass and appropriate energy storage systems.
Eco Reset energy experts deliver a comprehensive district heating feasibility study: Detailed building energy demand data, Holistic systems simulation, and GIS data storage for results/information transfer. Expected outcomes: New understanding of sustainable DH design in the region, technology selection, and systems design, practical/valuable datasets for rapid execution.
The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) funded the project through the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) program. The project's implementer is the "Gaus" Institute from Bitola, and the project partner is the "100% Renewable" Foundation from Berlin.
